SMS Terms & Conditions

About our text messaging program

Clough Roofing LLC operates a text messaging program for customers and for people who ask us about roofing work. The program runs on our business line, (941) 340-3000.

How you opt in

You can opt in to receive text messages from Clough Roofing by entering your mobile number on a website form, checking the optional SMS consent checkbox, and submitting the form. The checkbox is unchecked by default and appears with the SMS disclosure before the submit button.

Providing your phone number or submitting a form without checking the SMS consent checkbox does not enroll you in text messages. You can request an inspection, receive an estimate, or purchase our services without agreeing to receive texts.

You may also text us first at (941) 340-3000. We will respond to your inquiry with relevant customer service messages. Initiating a text conversation does not enroll you in marketing or promotional messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. For assistance, call (941) 340-3000.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, and you must be the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you give us.

What messages you will receive

Once you opt in, you may receive text messages of these types:

This is a customer care and conversational messaging program. Every message we send is either a reply to you or an informational update about your request, your inspection, your job, or your billing. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not send text message advertising.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You will generally only receive messages while you have an open request, a scheduled inspection, an active job, or an open invoice with us. We do not send messages on a recurring schedule.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier sets those rates, not Clough Roofing.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to opt out. You can reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and after that we will not send you any more texts. You can also call us at (941) 340-3000 or email info@cloughroofing.com and ask to be removed.

If you opt out and later want messages again, just opt in again using any of the methods above.

How to get help

Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (941) 340-3000 or info@cloughroofing.com for assistance.

Delivery and carriers

Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier’s network and on your device. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that every message reaches you on time.

Your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We never sell, rent, lease, trade, or transfer your mobile number, SMS registration data, text messaging opt in data, or consent to any third party for that third party’s own use. This exclusion applies to every sharing and disclosure category in our Privacy Policy, including service providers, affiliates, business partners, and any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.

The only parties that ever receive your mobile number for this program are the messaging service providers and aggregators that deliver the messages on our behalf. They may use it only to deliver our messages to you, never for their own purposes.

Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the program

We may update these SMS terms. The date at the top of this page shows the most recent update. Continuing to receive our messages after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

Mobile Information, SMS Opt In Data, and Consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

This restriction is absolute and it overrides every other sharing, disclosure, and transfer provision in this Privacy Policy. Your mobile number, SMS registration data, text messaging opt in data, and consent are excluded from every category described above and below, including sharing with service providers, sharing with affiliates, sharing with any business partner, and any merger, acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, financing, bankruptcy, liquidation, or sale or transfer of some or all of our assets.

We never sell, rent, lease, trade, or transfer mobile information, SMS registration data, text messaging opt in data, or consent to any third party for that third party’s own use. No third party ever receives this information for its own marketing, its own advertising, its own analytics, or resale, and no third party ever receives it with your consent for those purposes, because we do not offer that option and we will not ask you for it.

The only parties that ever receive your mobile number in connection with our text messaging program are the messaging service providers and aggregators that carry the messages on our behalf. They act solely on our instructions, they may use the information only to deliver our messages to you, and they may not use it for their own purposes. That is a service delivery function, not a sale and not a transfer of ownership.

We do not sell, share, or transfer consumer personal data, including SMS registration data, text messaging opt in data, and consent, to external organizations for marketing or for any other unrelated purpose.

If we are ever compelled to disclose information in response to a valid legal process, such as a subpoena or court order, that narrow disclosure is a legal obligation only. It is never a sale, it is never a transfer for a third party’s own use, and it is never for marketing.

Questions about your mobile information, our text messages, or your privacy choices: email info@cloughroofing.com or call (941) 340-3000.
